Did these martial arts events recognise the 'TRNC' as a territory?

not really ...more that fact that the nationality of each fighter is recognised ....if you live in the U.K ..which i think you do ...check www.cagerage.tv ... their are 3 turk cyps on the programs

Sports can bring peace but recognising the 'TRNC' as a country will certainly not bring peace for Cypriots - unless you think that what Turkey has done since 1974 is fine.

Also remember Nelson Mandela snubbed some kind of Turkish award once because of their human right abuses and dealing arms to the apparthaid government of South Africa. Any guy that thinks highly of Nelson Mandela must also think highly of EOKA, because his ANC party used the same tactics for liberation as EOKA did.

Cage Rage is a joke anyway and not a martial art but a sport. Any event which restricts you in your fighting style is a sport. The fighters techniques are quite poor too - like UFC...which is shite. I could go to Cage Rage with a flag and say i hail from the Republic of Haringey and they would probably list me as coming from Haringey.

You cant fight Wing Chun in UFC because you have to wear gloves and are limited in what strikes you can do. So a Wing Chun man cant fight in UFC. Im trying to go to Hong Kong in 2008 with my martial arts school so i'll let you know. But watching UFC, there technique seems rushed and you arent going to fight UFC or rub up on another man, roll on the floor, in the street.

Wing Chun and trying to master one art. I dont think you can truly master more than one art - you can get thru all its syllabuses yes tho. (i stress the word TRY - i am not trying to say im Yip Man lol). Thats why i dont rate Cage Rage / UFc etc, they are sports and wear gloves etc.

No there is certainly not anything wrong with what Mandela did...nor EOKA A. One mans terrorist IS another mans freedom fighter yes i agree. Civil war happens but do you agree with what Turkey has done since it first invaded in the summer of 1974?
