Can anybody give me some advice on moving to cyprus pls? My boyf is posted there with the army in may 08 although im not sure which barracks as yet. I need some info on what i would have to do with regards to accommodation, a school for my 5 year old, a job for me etc. Anything would be a bonus, thanks!

Wait until you find where he is to be posted as the army bases are a long way from each other. One is close to Limassol and one is close to Larnaca.
Check if your child is eligible to go to the base school. If not, the alternatives are a private kindergarten or a private school. Cypriot children start school later than the UK, but there is a possibility of your child going to a local (Cypriot) school.
Finding a job would depend on what skills you have, but wages here are not good if you have to cover the cost of accommodation too.

I would suggest looking on some other Cyprus forums too
