Where do you normally go to watch the games Microphone?

Normally, if its not on LTV/Alpha, I'm down at Maximillians pub in Dekhelia. A fair few Spurs fans go there.

Joke

Postby gintonic » Thu Aug 16, 2007 10:45 am

This joke says it all

A North London school teacher explains to her class that she is an Arsenal fan.

She asks her students to raise their hands if they, too, are Arsenal fans.
Everyone in the class raises their hand expect one little girl. The teacher looks at the girl with surprise and says, "Janie, why didn't you raise your hand?"

"Because I'm not an Arsenal fan," she replied. The teacher, still shocked, asked, "Well, if you are not an Arsenal fan, then who are you a fan of?"

"I am a Tottenham fan, and proud of it," Janie replied.
The teacher could not believe her ears. "Janie, tell me, why are you a Tottenham fan?"

"Because my mum is a Tottenham fan, and my dad is a Tottenham fan, so I'm a Tottenham fan too!"

"Well," said the teacher in an obviously annoyed tone, "That is no reason for you to be a Tottenham fan. You don't have to be just like your parents all of the time. What if your mom were a moron and your dad were a moron, what would you be
then?"

"Then," Janie smiled, "I'd be an Arsenal fan."

Its only a joke, actually I have a few Gooner fan friends, and considering who they support, they are nice people. Its good to have a bit of rivalry and yes Arse-nal have been top dogs for the last few years but football has a way of going in circles and soon it will be OUR turn to win the premier league. FA cup, and conquer europe. WELL I CAN DREAM CANT I. Oh forgot Arse havent conquered europe yet have they !!!!!

Tottenham / Arsenal results 1960 to 1983 - I make that 23 years, Tottenhams score first. A couple of days before Christmas 1978 saw an act of unprecedented generosity in permitting a 5 goal win just to beat the 4 permitted in September 1967. It goes in cycles boys. Each Club has its day / era. It is just that Tottenham were the First British side to take on the best that Europe had to offer & teach them how to win in style. Manchester Utd would have done the same but for the tragic events that tore the team apart. Rael Madrid, Dukla Prague, Spartak Moskow & the Dynamo, Ajax, Barcelona, Milan have all had a go but Tottenham were the first. Arsenal have done exceptionally well for a decade as Liverpool did for two decades before them. There you have it.
