This is a Cytanet issue.

I tried several times to resolve the problem with them but unfortunately their support is useless for anything beyond the usual basic issues.

The only permanent solution is to change ISP. Otenet, Netway and WaveSpeed offer a much better service. Otenet is also cheaper than Cytanet. The change of ISP can be done within minutes over the phone or online without any additional cost. Send me a PM if you need any help regarding this issue.

Another alternative is going to Germanos and applying for Otenet through them which is even cheaper than any other option.

Keep your existing phone line, apply in Germanos for Otenet at £19.95/month for a very fast 1.5Mbps line and you'll be connected within a week with a superfast connection at a cheaper price than what you are paying now. No more i-choice

Otenet lines do not cover many areas yet. If she wants Otenet she will have to get it with i-choice so it will be 15 pounds i-choice + 10 pounds Otenet for the 1Mbit connection.

For Limassol, they cover Germasyia, Limassol, Kapsalos, Omonia and I think Mesa Geitonia (not 100% sure on the one).

I could get into any other site I liked apart from this one.

Changed to Netway and it now works perfectly. Netway is faster than Cyta’s Netrunner too…

Alternatively you could just spend more time in the pub.

If you just want to read the posts (login doesn't work) then use the IP address of the site. Type this into the address : http://69.16.253.89/

If you have problems with other sites then use an NS lookup site to find the actual IP and try that instead (type the website address into the domain box). This site works for me : http://www.webreference.com/cgi-bin/nslookup.cgi

I also experience exactly the same problems accessing the site, usually at weekends, but using Crivens idea of typing in the http address (http://69.16.253.89/) worked for me, although I wasn't able to log in, and therefore unable to add commenst etc.
