Ahir is best translated into "ahouri" in Greek. Thus, it is something more than just a stable. We have had makarounia and poulli many times at bizim ahir. They are made cypriot style by Kemal's woman (wife?). They are the best you can get. At the height of the hunting season (even at its low) Kemal prepares a hare for us, the traditional way. Its finger licking great!
