Cemsa...there is two races left to end the season and he needs all the points he can get from these remaining two races to qualify for the international final in Italy..

My nephew is champion over here in the mini's (under 12) he just finished second in the European champioship in Italy last weekend. We should get them together to compare notes on who'll make it to formula 1 first.

thanks iceman...never too late to qualify into Le Mans or something similar. Give the boy a high target and watch him fly.

I will tell you something...go karting does wonders for father-son bonding. Very few sports give you this much involvement with just the 2 of you.

Too true....it does...but you should see the fathers during the races, having a go at each other, arguing and sometimes fighting.
They get more carried away than their kids.

There has been Three meetings so far, and we have heard that it was great and was fun and the Milkshake was lousy and yada, yada, yada. What I have not heard from you all is, what was it that you all talked about. Did you guys get into in depth political discussions, just like you do on the forum or did you all remained polite.???

Perhaps someone can make a recording of the next meeting and post it on the forum, so that we can actually listen to what went on, since nobody says anything on what they talked about.

We talked about lot's of things. Some political some mundane. We told jokes and spoke of other forum members that were not present. Recording such meetings would only inhibit those attending imo.

Apart from the fun & jokes we talk about many things including politics, but instead of arguing we try to listen more & learn about each other in order to understand better..
I find this fascinating, because although we have shared the same geography all our lives we have been raised with two completely different versions of Cyprus history, which most of the time is biased and does not always reflect the truth.
I find these meetings very educating and enjoy the time spent..
