No country can go into war without first securing it's borders. If Turkey goes into war in Cyprus chances are she will turn her soldiers back to avoid losing more of her own lands.War is an extremely unstable situation for ANY country that starts it.

Now what they are doing here with all these armaments is exactly this. They don't ever hope they will start a war against Turkey. All they are doing is prevent Turkey from starting a war against us or she will lose more than what she will gain, either here or elsewhere.

There is a little problem of logistics here. Please reconsider.

Some of your EU members have almost all of their soldier boys otherwise engaged in Iraq and Afganistan. So numbers are really irrelevant in your argument. Would they want to? Just for Cyprus? You over estimate your importance. They will Talk, talk nd yet more talk. Oh s..t. I forgot, you now have oil!!! God help us all. You know what happens if you have oil. Carpet bombing and all that.
