As a matter of interest, are there any TCs paying tax in the RoC. Thats going to be fun  I know, ........they are only a minoriy, even if there are any tax payers.

Btw are they going to replace the one they nicked from the Turkish Army in 1974?

Now what they are doing here with all these armaments is exactly this. They don't ever hope they will start a war against Turkey. All they are doing is prevent Turkey from starting a war against us or she will lose more than what she will gain, either here or elsewhere.

I did not mean that Pyro but never mind!!

I also think that the "RoC" is having delusions of grander. Or you are...one or the other.

I really don't like talking war but Turkey has 5,000,000 reserves to call on at any one time...Come on lets get real here. As far as the article I read in the Times in the UK a couple of years ago goes anyway.

What I am saying is that all this gesturing by little old "RoC" is just a waste of money and more a case of where those tanks are coming from and who is really going to profit out of it. I think it was you that said that the people are the ones that are going to lose.

'RoC" = They would only piss the attackers off more........

Bloody Turk, trying to frighten us off with your numbers. There are more than 800,000,000,000 bacteria on the end of your finger; but I can kill them all off with a bit of TCP.

Anyway, how many troops does the EU have that would mount against Turkey, that is the up-to-date statistic to consider.

Yasha be GR!!!!!! That is exactly the point, Turkey will not attack so why the waste of money on tanks....Those Cypriot mice are a bit of a menace and if they regroup with the donkeys then we may have a fight on our hands but TANKS??????

There is a little problem of logistics here. Please reconsider.

Some of your EU members have almost all of their soldier boys otherwise engaged in Iraq and Afganistan. So numbers are really irrelevant in your argument. Would they want to? Just for Cyprus? You over estimate your importance. They will Talk, talk nd yet more talk. Oh s..t. I forgot, you now have oil!!! God help us all. You know what happens if you have oil. Carpet bombing and all that. I will have to rethink my retirement plans. Tell GR I will have to put off our next meet. Oh you have already, thats fine.

Oh dear, I've angered a Turk. Have I touched a sore spot with you...would you like me to apply some TCP?

Why are you worried about who will lead the EU Army if you really think it can't happen?
