Can the 60s agreements be utilized today in European Cyprus?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Piratis » Thu Aug 09, 2007 11:07 pm

The 1960 agreements can work just fine with the necessary modernization that is needed to bring them to them 21st century. I don't think that there is any normal democratic country which does not implement improvements.

Yeah right leave it to the "indigenous" Cypriots to sort it out ...the ones that sing Greeces national anthem , have Greeces flags flying all over the place ...oh and the ones that tried to give Cyprus away Greece but ended up giving half of it to Turkey. Thanks but no thanks!

You're also too quick to call us "Turks born on Cyprus" when history proves that you havent been loyal to Cyprus.

Get off your high horse...

I know you are just feeling insecure because you may have to change your name to fit in with the times Mister "Turk-born-on-Cyprus" but keep practising, even monkeys can re-learn.

Now, be good and stop making such unverifiable, gross exaggerations with me. You merely sound pathetic. Change the recording ...

Oh, and start learning that Greek National Anthem...you may be singing it soon.

As a special introductory offer to our slower Turkish baggage, we will let you off with just learning the first verse...don't want you to burst a vein (you're already full of your kidnappers' propaganda).

But, that's only if we decide to pay the ransom to release you.

Cypriots can fly whatever flag they want and have whatever national anthem they want, as long as this is what the citizens democratically choose. We don't live in the Ottoman era that you Turks could enslave us and impose on us your will.

If you don't like Cyprus for what it really is, then go back from where you came from. If instead of respecting this island and the Cypriots you continue with crimes in an effort to Turkify part of it, then be sure that you are not welcomed to our island, and that sooner or later you will became part of history, just like the rest of the foreign invadors that tried to exploit our land and annihilate us.

Cyprus is a multi-ethnic country. We have Cypriot citizens who originate from all over the world. All that is required from Cypriot citizens is to respect the laws and the democratic principles of this country, just like the country respects them and their rights. This is what is asked from the TC minority as well, and this is what happens in every other multi-ethnic country around the world.

You are free to elect and be elected in free and fair elections, and your human, democratic and all other rights that are based on EU principles are guaranteed. At the same time you are obligated to respect the rights of the other Cypriot citizens. If you don't then you should be ready to face the consequences that all outlaws eventually face.

OH, HA HA HA.......HA........................................................HA  That was a lame attempt at being funny and a lame attempt at posting a come back

You failed!

Greek anthem? PLEASE!

Anyways I rest my case! You're a Greek and your priorities lie with Greeks and Hellenism not Cyprus or Cypriots. Ofcourse you yourself are probably one of those brainwashed individuals who think Cyprus = Greek and how the GCs are organic and natural who grew from trees and who were handpicked by God himself.

Thank you "Turk-born-onCyprus".

But I wasn't expecting an appraisal in lieu of an informed opinion, but I guess you are of Turkish descent; so other than playing the Karagiozi you have not got a clue.

My ethnic origins are so richly mixed, you would have to get a map out.

I support mankind. The only ones excluded from mankind, by their own past actions, are the Turks.

Oh the irony...or is it the hypocrisy?

Not a very good idea to try to put down someone by doing the same thing you're trying to put them down about is it??? Makes you look a "little" foolish :?...might wanna sort that out

The only 'karagiozi' is you anyways (evident from your posts)....and by the way karagiozi is infact a Turkish word .

I see I need to take the time to enlighten you. If you have seen any of my posts you should decipher that indigenous Cypriots have a rich ethnic mix because we have had so many invaders that have left their mark (and by extrapolation their genes/ethnicity).

Therefore, a TRUE Indigenous Cypriot should not have to call himself "Turkish-Cypriot" or "Roman-Cypriot" or Moorish-Cypriot". You great Pillock-Turk.

An indigenous Cypriot is just that, a Cypriot!

On the other hand a "Turkish-Cypriot" is at the very least an oxymoronic juxtaposition.

Get your dictionary out Karagiozi

We only need to improve the Zurich agreement and we are away again.

Hopefully, minus any baggage that doesn't want to pull it's weight.

Good point Chimera.
Someone told me a reason once that stuck in my mind.I repeat it's not my thought, I just found this reason interesting.

He said we had all these problems because we were the majority and the Tcs were the minority and they were always tripping us.

Lets reverse the tables and let them play the game themselves in their own area, to see how good they would be when we will be tripping them
