Thats interesting. Years ago I had a taste for Karydaki (wallnut preserve/jam?). It was from the then CCCP and had Armenian writing on it. Which made me think whether it was the Armenians who introduced Karydaki in to Cyprus. It would not surprise me a bit. Any ideas, please let me know (sorry wrong topic but ....
