Bananiot wrote:What a laugh! Papadopoulos has made so many blunders and you still think he does not make silly mistakes. Do you remember when he attended the memorial for a well known music teacher and what he said in his speech? Do you need me to remind you?

Were you by any chance in Helsinki when he made his speech? It was reporter by two journalists and later the excerpt under question was "put right" by Yiannis Nicolaou of RIK who wasn't even in the room!

What is amazing is your haste to protect Papadopoulos. The particular quote from Al Khaleej was brought up many times by his adveraries and only lately Papadopoulos managed to give an excuse (through his spokesman, Pasiardis at the time) which is much different from the one you gave. As I said, the original and authentic script can be found at PIO or perhaps KYPE and the excuse had to be different from the one you gave (editing errors, imish).

My political sense tells me (to carry on with my rhetoric) that Papadopoulos is playing a double game. He has instructed his faithfull (Angelides, Pittokopitis, Koulias, Archbishop and a few others from EDEK) to hit at the bizonal, bicommunal federation all day and when this is pointed out by the opposition, his spokesman (Palmas, married to Papadopoulos's niece) quickly reassures everybody that Papadopoulos disagrees with them. What a circus!

I don't know how you managed to drug my reply on the 13 points on an exclussive discussion about your Anti-Christ once again.

But anyway
a)Next time tell your colleaque who is detached from the Ministry of Education to write speeches for Papadopoulos to be more careful. Do you want me to give you names Bananiot? I am sure you know EVERYONE of them

b)I am yet to see any convincing evidence from you regarding all your claims.

c)I already provided you 2 proofs that the article was butchered i)there is no way Papadopoulos have said "turkish Cyprus" ii)There is no way for Papadopoulos to have said we "asked to increase the patrols in 1963 at a time that the last chicken in Cyprus knows the events of 1963 had nothing to do with any dispute regarding the number of patrols and that those events happened on Christmas and continued in January 1964.

d)You seem to over-estimate Papadopoulos abilities. NOBODY can play on double boards and fool everybody.

Btw I would classify myself a fool, if I would go on screaming "hey look what Papadopoulos said in this newspaper. He said Larnaca is 20Km from Turkish Cyprus"

As you can see I 've just given you another arrow to help you kill your Anti-Christ.Use it.

I do not think you bother to read what I write Pyrpolyser. Okay, suppose you are correct. How, then, do you explain the fact that Papadopoulos gave a different explanation to yours? Whom shall we believe, you or what came straight out of the horse's mouth. Well, I personally believe neither of you.

Why do I go on about Papadopoulos? Because I know that this man has destroyed Cyprus. If you had the capacity to know this you would feel the same, I am sure. It is a positive thing Christofias has realised this after 5 years but it is probably too late to do anything about it.

You write

I am yet to see any convincing evidence from you regarding all your claims.

and I reluctantly answer

it is in the ambient atmosphere

Sorry about your thread. Others, you not excluded, have done the same to my threads on numerous occasions, but I am not complaining.

I declare that I do not know who writes the speeches for Papadopoulos but if Papadopoulos goes and reads them without double checking he must be more than a fool. No serious politician would do this. After all, the writer might be an Anastasiades mole, trying to discredit him. In this case I would advise Anastasiades not to bother. Papadopoulos manages quite nicely by himself.

Listen Bananiot I personally changed my style in here to information exchange than arguing for nothing. You have not given me any convincing evidence. You tell me to go check PIO or KYPE etc whereas yourself has not done so. Well if you know what he said tell us in your own words just FOR THE RECORD. Why do you keep it secret and keep on talking with riddles?

I don't have an Anti-Christ to fight against, nor do I have a Christ to support.
Just give me your information and I will be satisfied. I am not saying you/or me are right or wrong, and this is NOT an argument that could hypothetically be used to continue any discussion.

Btw this is NOT my threat so there is no need to apologize to me. But it is true that you turn each and every topic into an Anti-Papadopoulos campaign, and this is really boring.

They are 3 "Philologoi" detached from the Ministry of education. When you go back to school you can find out their names. For your information they also write speeches for the Ministers as well. Yes he should have read the speech beforehand, but he didn't... on the other hand this incident may give you an indication of the level of our Educational system.
