Bananiot wrote:What a laugh! Papadopoulos has made so many blunders and you still think he does not make silly mistakes. Do you remember when he attended the memorial for a well known music teacher and what he said in his speech? Do you need me to remind you?
Were you by any chance in Helsinki when he made his speech? It was reporter by two journalists and later the excerpt under question was "put right" by Yiannis Nicolaou of RIK who wasn't even in the room!
What is amazing is your haste to protect Papadopoulos. The particular quote from Al Khaleej was brought up many times by his adveraries and only lately Papadopoulos managed to give an excuse (through his spokesman, Pasiardis at the time) which is much different from the one you gave. As I said, the original and authentic script can be found at PIO or perhaps KYPE and the excuse had to be different from the one you gave (editing errors, imish).
My political sense tells me (to carry on with my rhetoric) that Papadopoulos is playing a double game. He has instructed his faithfull (Angelides, Pittokopitis, Koulias, Archbishop and a few others from EDEK) to hit at the bizonal, bicommunal federation all day and when this is pointed out by the opposition, his spokesman (Palmas, married to Papadopoulos's niece) quickly reassures everybody that Papadopoulos disagrees with them. What a circus!
I am yet to see any convincing evidence from you regarding all your claims.

No serious politician would do this. After all, the writer might be an Anastasiades mole, trying to discredit him. In this case I would advise Anastasiades not to bother. Papadopoulos manages quite nicely by himself.

No but you know sometimes when "you put yourself in someone elses shoes" and you REALLY feel how that other person feels??
Well I feel sorry for you bro!!!
Bananiot wrote:I do not think you bother to read what I write Pyrpolyser. Okay, suppose you are correct. How, then, do you explain the fact that Papadopoulos gave a different explanation to yours? Whom shall we believe, you or what came straight out of the horse's mouth. Well, I personally believe neither of you.
Why do I go on about Papadopoulos? Because I know that this man has destroyed Cyprus. If you had the capacity to know this you would feel the same, I am sure. It is a positive thing Christofias has realised this after 5 years but it is probably too late to do anything about it.

and I reluctantly answer
it is in the ambient atmosphere
Sorry about your thread. Others, you not excluded, have done the same to my threads on numerous occasions, but I am not complaining.
