Cypriot football shirts...

Postby Kristianikos » Wed Aug 08, 2007 1:44 am

I have been after one in a while.. and i know of their limited availability even in Cyprus, but i found this.

http://www.sportarena.gr/product_info.p ... rrency=GBP

It's a website situated in Greece with most major greek teams, but i found the Cyprus away shirt (sadly only available in Medium :( )

Just thought i'd share it with others, as last time i enquired about this people seemed to be interested.

kristianikos, didn't we discuss this last year just before cuprus held the mighty Germany to a draw ( I was hoping for a win). I gave name & address of sport shop in Nicosia where mine came from. The details are now lost, but since that time my friend's father bought him several in large size.
ASlso I have seen Cyprus listed on the Diadora website, whereas at the time they were not. My protests may have worked?

Regards

But i live in the UK and have no reletives willing to go to lefkosia to get me one

And i thought for those also living away from Cyprus, this would be a good opportunity to buy one seeing as they are hard to get on the internet :D

I've checked out the link. It seems, according to this website, that the blue is the away kit, & by inference, white is the home kit.
I believe that in the recent past the home kit has always been blue shirts. Can anyone corroborate this please.
We must know!

According to this site the blue is the first (I'm guessing home).

Aw hell.

I'll just have to wait till next summer when i visit Cyprus and get myself a shirt !!

Kristianikos, Hi again.
Try the Diadora website ascertain the phone number in the UK & they may be able to source one for you or point you to a supplier over here. Obviously there won't be too many of these as the Cyprus white shirt hasn't yet achieved the same mystical appeal as the Brazil shirt has worldwide, but in time you never know!!!!!
