You do realise that if one is Turkish, one must propagate the myth of the Saintlly Ottomans and their offspring.
Therefore, understandably, Zan is only doing his duty.

To do otherwise, would be to Insult Turkishness!
.........And we know what they do to people who perpetrate what we understand as the Truth.

I would be grateful if you would list their crimes, if any.

Den of Inequity:

Can we please, please, please drop the double-identity myth
It's really clouding my judgement, and it has done a great job of unsettling me if that was the intent. :(

You have won this battle!
(I'll concede, if that is the only way Turks will move on!)

I see from your posts that are usually a reasonable person (well, for a Turk).
So can we at least call a truce (without the need for UN intervention). :)

Until this post I was going to credit you with an Iota (not another Greek word) of intelligence. Do you still give credence to the UN as Peacekeepers. Your memory span is suffering. You have already forgotten their great work at Srebenica, aiding and abbeting the murder of thousands of innocent civilians (never mind their activities in Cyprus). I know, you are threatening me with the UN. Thanks but no thanks. You keep them

Well thank you for clarifying that!

Clearly I was wrong in equating even you with a modicum of reasonableness.

I see, I am still on the HUNT for the ONE elusive Turk that can earn the medal of Reason and Rationality.

The question of the effectiveness or otherwise of the UN (whom I wish were not on Cyprus since they ran over my cat, amongst other things), was not under discussion.
