How can we expect the younger members of society to respect authority AND themselves, when they are almost daily confronted by examples of immoral conduct by those whom they are prone to emulate.
The leniency shown by the authorities when dealing with 'spotlighted' persons, only serves to encourage those that admire them, another example of how some society's have slipped from grace in recent years.
In the past, the use of marijuana was an acceptable social pastime in some cultures, unfortunately, the correct use in the correct circumstances has been lost to us and is now abused.
