65 BUCKS APIECE.

Just imagine folks, YOU are given the task of distributing the sum of 65 dollars to every man, woman and child on the face of the earth.

The total sum expended would roughly represent the 'COST' of the Iraq invasion by the US to date.

You may be sure that the business generated by the invasion, coupled with the extraction of resources MUST be well in excess of the outlay, OR, are we to believe that the US is so dedicated to the cause of justice for all that it is prepared to invest such an astronomical sum in pursuit of it ?.

It is widely estimated that a further sum of 65 dollars apiece will be needed in the future (possibly even more), the US must be expecting business to be even better eh ?.

Cost so far = approximately $450,000,000,000.

World Population = less than 7,000,000,000.

Figures for profits generated are not readily available but the business must be good.

Flilitsa, if the money spent WAS distributed to the people who needed it, 'good cheer' would result I'm sure. :)

The problem is Eliko, knowing how badly government spends our money, it would cost another $65 dollars per person, just to hand out the original $65.

So the moral of the story what George Bush would tell you is, that The Iraq War still works out to be cheaper.

At $2 to the GB£ thats expensive. Eliko is just pointing out the costs. Not making a statement for or against. I'm sure you can decide for yourself if its a lot or not. 'Blimey...that much so far' would be a good response.

For you perhaps. :)

So money is an inherent barrier to good cheer, Eliko?

Let me rephrase the question: What is your purpose for posting "the facts"? Oh, and did you do the math yourself??? :)
