Two small earthquakes - one off the Larnaca Sea and the other off the Gulf of Antalya – have hit the region.
The Meteorology Department said the first quake – which measured 3.5 on the Richter Scale, happened off the Larnaca Sea at 07.30 with its epicenter 72 kilometers from the Magusa Earthquake Station.
The second, which measured 4.1 on the Richter Scale, happened in the sea off the Gulf of Antalya at 08.30 this morning.
Its epicenter was 170 kilometers from the Lefke Earthquake Station
