Limassol location request

Postby Crivens » Mon Aug 06, 2007 12:36 pm

I'm not great on street names, so does anyone know where this place is:-
PLATINUM CAR RENTALS
Georgiou A', 93A'
Potamos Yermasoyias,4048
Limassol, Cyprus

I'm thinking perhaps one of the ones by Pizza hut, but wondering if anyone knows for definite off the top of their heads.

Cheers

If it helps apparently it is directly opposite the Londa Beach Hotel. Got a rough idea of where that is (I'm normally the other side) and thought it would be up there somewhere. It would be nice to know exactly where though.

Heh, booked through an online site, then went to the actual company website once it told me who it was booked with. They state on the website that "Free delivery & collection within Limassol area" but apparently that means not to a private address.

Hiya

Not exactly sure of this rental place but the L'Onda is right along the seafront road, near Kentucky.

Fair enough. Thought it would be along there somewhere, just don't know how far down the road (and you know you have to concentrate on the road when driving here...) it is. Not much past Haagen-Daz ice cream place, Buy Sell, and StarBucks (sad I know, but I base everything on how near to StarBucks it is...) I assume, or is it a few miles further?

Wish someone would bung together a route finder based on post codes here... Hmmm. That's not a bad idea actually. Anyone used Google Earth recently? Images of Limassol are now good enough to see your own building (before it was a blur). I think there is also a way to attach notes to a location (I've seen images). Why not get everyone to plonk a note with P/O:1234 against where they live? Picture would be nice too. Well useful...
