hang on a minute, ain't you the one preaching partition?...you tell me what right you have...

well quess what zan, they are going ahead without your say so and at the same time, make a mockery out of turkey...kinda kill 2 birds with one stone...what do you think aboutr that?

so far you want your rights as per 1960 and to keep the land as well...

ps...i think turkey has run out of casus beli...

So you wanting the constitution and then the oil as well is ok then. Take the oil and then recognise the TRNC?KKTC. You want it both ways but not us. What is happening with Greek mathematics...it seems not to be adding up in your mind.

The RoC is already legally entitled to any oil found so she doesn’t need to compromise with any renegades let alone grant them "recognition" on HER territory!!!

as far as the oil, well a lot of companies showed intrest...as far as bringing it to the top, i will let them do the sums...

I do not see this as an attempt, but as a sovereign right of the RoC...do you disagree with that?

Of course it is the right of RoC to look for oil. But really, you have to look further than that - which RoC we are talking about?

The one you get your passports, ID cards, healthcare, unemployment benefits, and social security from.

AHHHHHH! The door to Europe.

That's right and I might remind you that it's the ONLY way to Europe! 8)

So do I but not by killing anyone.....Plus I want to have my rights intact. The new EU law that they want to force on us does not give me that. They have changed the constitution by stealth and you not only let them but support them in doing so.......

Zan,

I helped who change the Constitution.???

Let me get this straight Zan. Greece, Turkey and Britain are/were the Guarantors to the safekeeping of the Constitution of Cyprus, and what have they done really.

Greece invaded Cyprus.

Turkey invaded Cyprus.

Britain never left Cyprus.

So why are you not blaming all these Bastards who suppose to safeguard the Constitution instead of blaming me. While we are at it, why didn't the TC's come and claim their place in the RoC government so that if there were any attempts made to change the Constitution, the TC's would and could have stopped the GC's. You don't seem to have a problem accepting the belief that the GC properties in the North were abandoned by their owners, so they were given to others, mostly from Turkey to the settlers. Don't you think the GC's will use the same argument, that the TC's abandoned the constitution, so the GC's are going about business as usual and make changes if needed, because the TC's are not interested in being in the RoC government.

I don't know what changes have been made to the constitution, but why do you even care, if you don't have any intentions coming back to the RoC government in the first place. Until the time comes that the TC's would want to come into the RoC to take their rightful places, then at that time, you may raise your objections, to any modifications that may or may not have taken place with the Constitution.

Woh there horsey!!!!

There is gun fire in the streets...The EOKA thugs are rounding up Tcs and killing them by the hundred. Barricades have gone up in every TC enclave and you want a group of TC men to walk into a government building and ask to be taken back. I tell you what back they would have been taken to and that would have been to the back of a great big building and shot. Are you being serious with the reality that you try to paint. Its like Bush walking into an Iraqi village and asking for a hotel room for the night...Are you sure. If you are not going to take the seriousness of the situation into account when you think about these things, how the hell are you going to make sense of it all.

As to the rest of what you wrote then why not have a split if that is the case? So many things have to change if there is to be the slightest chance of unification to work but you are happy for us to walk into an "RoC' that does not cater for us in the slightest. Come on mate...

Zan,

I should have known that you were going back to the 1963 era.!!

I was referring to the present times, since we can't do too much to change the past.

As I always say, never forget the past, but also don't let the past stop the FUTURE:

Zan, I want the TC's to get everything that they are entitled to in Cyprus. The question is, will they want to do it under one Cypriot Government or try to do it on their own.

The last 33 years tells me, that the TC's want to do it on their own.

Is this a good move or a bad move, only time will tell.

I responded to one part of your post Kikapu. At what point were they to just walk into the "RoC". I think their seats where already taken..

I suspect Kifeas to be too young to live and or experience those difficult days. Most people only learn secondhand or from official propaganda machinery.
