Oil ?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

There "is a stampede of oil giants coming after our oil" we were informed.

Big words indeed and because I learned that "if you hear of a lot of figs you should take a small basket" and furthermore (and more important) because I comprehend, despite of my psychiatric problems, the quality of the people that govern us, I never for one moment believe(d) their lies. This psycho refuses to be taken for a ride. If you read the pro government press today (Phileleftheros, Simerini) you will learn that we are pleased by the response!

Regarding our isolation, I refer you to recent statements by Markos Kyprianou and Erato Markoulli who certainly carry more clout than me and no joker can describe them as psychopath, yet!

Not that I remember of any such "big words" that you fantasise to have been said by "those" governing you, but it seems that besides us "been taken for a ride," Turkey was taken too, for it wouldn't have been barking, threatening and sending her ships out ever since the news has been heard!

Of course it goes without saying that you would rather have Cyprus not so lucky and fortunate to have found any oil reserves at all, and thus have its people being offered a more promising future; than to see Papadopoulos and his government being benefited politically even for just one inch!

This last paragraph becomes so evident by only looking at the way you think you should try and make fun of what you think has been the outcome of yesterday’s bits for oil research tenders; and this is what unfortunately proves what a psycho of a grant scale you are! At least wait until the final outcome of this venture is reached, we are yet far from it, and then start celebrating and dancing like a monkey!

Gone off track this query ...the query was regarding oil/Gas exploration in the seas between cyprus and Egypt ...the Turks cant do jack shit ...once the exploration begins ..it will be a E.U fuel iniitative ...so the project will be untouchable
The TURKS believe that should the revenue make the Greek Cypriots wealthy they would be less inclined to wish for a reasoable settlement.
They also wish to have some of the proceeds ...

E.U legal consultants have already drawn a mandate to warn Turkey against intervention

as i said ....BARBARIANS ...talentless nobodies

Greek Cypriots ....wake up ...the barbarian is showing his teeth ...

Bananiot, before you go around calling people barbarians or corrupt as usual - maybe you should have a long look at yourself and realise you would love to see the average Cypriot suffer if it means you can carry on your crusade about Papadopolous. You dont care about the average person, what you care about is your psychopathic political ideologies.

I agree, let us not call anyone barbarian from now on. But, sorry to spoil it for you, Papadopoulos is corrupt. He recieved 50 grand from a UK/Ukrainian company and has not as yet explained why? When asked he said "it does not concern me". Only in a banana republic this can be done and only in a banana republic people will not ask question. The latter is the most serious, because corrupt politicians are every where to be found.

What promises Bananiot? You sound like a Tc who has nothing else to talk about than the promises of EU.
Have they promised you they will find petrol? Have they descended themselves with a Russian submarine and checked it out?

Yet if you believed all the things they said then your problem is bigger than what I thought. This is how ALL politicians function. They paint everything rosy to cheer up the people and gain votes. Even in 1974 they were saying on the radio we were winning all battles everywhere.

Now tell me are you satisfied or are you NOT satisfied for the fact that most propably there is no oil. Personally I am. The situation might have lead to a new war...

In my opinion your problem is actually the FACT that your Anti-Christ might have gained a few more votes for his next election. Big deal! He is going to be elected anyway. I would prefer to have Christofias this time but....

Any clearer now Bananiot???

So the general consensus here is that it is OK for the "RoC" to bullshit and it is the fault of the people if they buy into it. Give us a break. It just goes to show the games they are prepared to play. Elections coming; lets show our people how inept we are by lying to them and you think that is OK.  Then you have a go at the guy that points it out..Explains a lot really.

What did happen to that politician that got sacked for telling the people of the "RoC" that the government lied about it being illegal to sell their property to who ever they wanted.....   Corruption seems to come from the bottom up in the South of Cyprus.
