Oil ?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby erolz » Fri Aug 17, 2007 3:16 pm

The Cyprus mail is psinning it as 4 firms lol

THE GOVERNMENT yesterday received expressions of interest from one US company and a consortium of three firms for offshore hydrocarbon exploration south of the island.

One company and ONE consortium of three companies = 4 companies showing interest. Great spin :)

Probably felt victim to CBC, because this is how the state radio announced it yesterday. Spin is the main interest of this government in view of the forthcoming elections. The fact that Cyprus was rediculed is small print to them. Obviously, this is another incidence which can be atributed to the isolation Papadopoulos has condemned Cyprus to since becoming President.

Bananiot, not that you should -or are in fact being taken seriously ...but, can you possibly explain to us how Cyprus is been “ridiculed” in this instance; and where or how is this “isolation” that you claim “Papadopoulos has condemned Cyprus to since becoming President” anywhere visible or evident, so that we can also see it? Why is it only you and your very few likes in this country, the only ones seeing the things you claim you see, and no one else?

One last thing, do you ever consider seeing a psychiatrist? It is never too late, Bananiot!

Oil or no oil Bananiot has an Anti-Christ to fight remember? In this respect "we are ignored" ,"we are ridiculed", we got isolated, nobody takes us seriously and all the usual stuff his vivid imagination is manufacturing all day.

He doesn't even understand by been so obviously irrelevant, that he is loosing supporters than gaining.

It seems that we are not the only ones isolated from the world. We have no choice but if you guys do not open your eyes to what is going on then it is your own faults. You have no one to blame ...Although I am sure you will find someone

The issue here is all the promises this government was liberally dishing out last February and not what Bananiot says. Remember "the colossi are coming" made huge headlines in the pro Papadopoulos press. In "six years we will be selling oil to the EU" we were told. There "is a stampede of oil giants coming after our oil" we were informed.

Big words indeed and because I learned that "if you hear of a lot of figs you should take a small basket" and furthermore (and more important) because I comprehend, despite of my psychiatric problems, the quality of the people that govern us, I never for one moment believe(d) their lies. This psycho refuses to be taken for a ride. If you read the pro government press today (Phileleftheros, Simerini) you will learn that we are pleased by the response!

Regarding our isolation, I refer you to recent statements by Markos Kyprianou and Erato Markoulli who certainly carry more clout than me and no joker can describe them as psychopath, yet!

What promises Bananiot? You sound like a Tc who has nothing else to talk about than the promises of EU.
Have they promised you they will find petrol? Have they descended themselves with a Russian submarine and checked it out?

Yet if you believed all the things they said then your problem is bigger than what I thought. This is how ALL politicians function. They paint everything rosy to cheer up the people and gain votes. Even in 1974 they were saying on the radio we were winning all battles everywhere.

Now tell me are you satisfied or are you NOT satisfied for the fact that most propably there is no oil. Personally I am. The situation might have lead to a new war...

In my opinion your problem is actually the FACT that your Anti-Christ might have gained a few more votes for his next election. Big deal! He is going to be elected anyway. I would prefer to have Christofias this time but....
