Oil ?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Piratis wrote:The Turks came to take part of Cyprus as it was their plans for decades. It is not that the Turks need any special reason to invade others. If it was like that the Ottoman empire would never exist. Thats the reason, and for that you give some excuses.

So now stop avoiding the topic and tell me what the excuse is for Turkey claiming oil between Cyprus and Egypt? Or you didn't find a good enough excuse for this yet?

How about this is an excuse: Having some kind of pseudo unification, then start a conflict in Cyprus again so then Turkey can come to "save you" and take the whole Cyprus and the oil. Sounds good for a plan?

OH! You now want to return to the topic...

Excellent plan actually but not a reality in sane peoples minds. WE DO NOT WANT THE WHOLE OF CYPRUS, unlike you loopy loo!

Stick the oil up your butts and leave us alone. Take the oil and recognise us. Simple really.

Ohh is Zan suffering from an identity crises?

If we do not acknowledge you then you do not exist, right.

Maybe you are a figment of your own imagination, again living in a twilight zone, in another dimension. :D

As Descartes said, "I think, therefore I exist".

But the Turks do not think, therefore, by inference, they do not exist! :P

But as I see you are trying to change the topic again, and trying to bring back them past so you can lie about it. You don't like to talk about the actions of Turkey today because you can not lie about them, right zan?

No need to lie about them Piratis they are there in the lit flag for you to see. The thing that brought about the situation is what you are trying to hide but cause and effect is not what you are after is it. We just arrived at 1974 as if by magic.

I asked you this question before and i will ask you again....

as a practising partitionist what rights have you got?...in regards to the oil...the revenues are for the cypriots, and not as in your a case, and as porky put it, a turk born in cyprus...onya boat son...

Turkey spends every waking minute practicing partition, and now she wants rights for her self and the psuedo?...give me a break...just to let you know, bordering live comedy here...

and please answer me what would have the situation been if the shoe was on the other foot?..you think Turkey will share?...

I also asked you about what cyprus means to you...you said your identity...I asked you how do you identify with your identity and guess what still waiting for a reply...

come on zan tell us what makes you proud to be a cypriot

I am a practical partitionist Pits as I have said a hundred times before. Last resort if nothing comes out of any other talks.

Turkey has interests in Cyprus, full stop. This is no secret and she has every right IMO. One day when we are all Cypriots without fear then she may not have.

and please answer me what would have the situation been if the shoe was on the other foot?..you think Turkey will share?...

There is no other foot if you take out the conflict. With the conflict in place then of course.

I also asked you about what cyprus means to you...you said your identity...I asked you how do you identify with your identity and guess what still waiting for a reply...

There is no secret to this Pits as I have stated this before. My identity is that of a Turkish Cypriot with my family enjoying all that means. I have told you before about the people that asked where I was from and I said Cyprus and they always replied " Oh Greek then". When Cyprus has got a real identity of its own then I too will be a proud Cypriot and my identity will be Cypriot. Until then, and I think this will not change in my life time, then I am a Turkish Cypriot. I come from a specific place that I can call home and that is the TRNC/KKTC. Whether hat is recognised or not it still brings me a warm feeling of belonging. I shall go and do my national service soon and that will endear me even further. That is what I want in a united Cyprus as well. I do not want my identity eroded. I feel like a Brit when I am in the UK but my roots are firmly in Cyprus. Born in Scala and lived in Nicosia. That is what I put on any form that I have to fill in. Born in Scala. That will never change.

come on zan tell us what makes you proud to be a cypriot

it really depends what you classify as talks and with whom?

Turkey has interests in Cyprus, full stop. This is no secret and she has every right IMO. One day when we are all Cypriots without fear then she may not have.

turkey has no right in cyprus...its a case of big and might on a small neighbour...and i don't really think they came for the tcs...why would the generals continue to remind you of your turkishness on daily basis?
anyway i hear by year 2025 it will be a different ball game played in turkey...kurds becoming 50% of the population...so i guess the turkish intrerests will shift sooner than later...
The RoC is a member of the EU and if turkey can't comprehend what this entails it means she is really barking up the wrong tree...and judging by the latest of the deep state's comical behaviour of late, maybe an alliance with Iran, Pakistan, and Afganistan should be sought out...not alone accepting anything remotely resembling anything to do with turkey as a final solution to the Cyprus occupation...

I said this to you before I think it has escaped your mind....the RoC is transforming at a rapid pace, matching all the EU countries...now take a look at the occuppied areas....the question to you, zan, why is turkey wanting to get into the club, if she has no faith in the club itself?...because if she had faith she would accept an EU solution to the Cyprus problem...why is turkey wanting an EU solution for herself, full membership, but not for the people she is protecting?...why is that?

There is no other foot if you take out the conflict. With the conflict in place then of course.

and what rights would anyone have?...with the conflict?...and how would turkey share it?...knowing that turkey owes lots and lots to the IMF?..should everyone finance turkey...is this is?
