How about Firin Kofte with potatoes ...doesn't your mother cook that dish?
One large Kofte (size of a roast beef) with hard boiled eggs and carrots inside cooked in oven...

diner time is coming up...

We do the same but without carrots just the boiled eggs!! We usually serve that with nice oven potatoes and salad and of course yogurt!

I find that if you treat them in Olive oil and yogurt they will be much more tender for your starter.....
