you are correct Deniz. İt is from Artichoke family.
how about CİNARA GAFGARIT,
u can cook it by lamb cubes or fried it with CYPRUS POTOTOES , onions ,eggs and mint flakes.

how about CİNARA GAFGARIT,
u can cook it by lamb cubes or fried it with CYPRUS POTOTOES , onions ,eggs and mint flakes.

The gafgaruk, was my grand mothers favourite, We had them in our Artichoke field right in the middle of the village. I am sure it was everybodys' favorite. We had it with eggs and sparrows* (sorry). Delicious

while i was writing to u about hostes (ostes) i did have a vistor from Near East University. His name is Dr Salih Gücel From Environmental Sciences İnstitute .He told me that Greek Name for Hostes is GAFUREZ
hope fully spelling is correct.

I have been eating plastic for years :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

I found this on youtube. Does anyone else make this type of cheese? Great mixed with a little sugar and spread on your toast in the morning. A few olives and a nice cup of black breakfast tea as well of course.

Molohiya with chicken, loads of lemon juice and crusty bread!!!! (especially ramazan bread) ...........

Do you add your garlic during or after cooking it? Or , YOU dont cook it yourself?
