Here are the results of two new polls with sample of 500-550 people.
One by Evresis Call Center shows a 42% “No” vote , and 22% “Yes” vote by Greek Cypriots.
The other by ACNielsen shows 40% “No” vote and 31% “Yes” vote.

Majority of people of ages 18-25 would vote “Yes”
Majority of people of ages 25-44 would vote “No”
Ages 45+ didn’t show a clear preference.
Majority of people that think that their economical condition will get better after the solution vote “Yes”.
Majority of people that think that their economical condition will get worst vote “No”.
Politis newspaper concludes based on this and other polls that the result of the referendum will depend greatly on these economical issues.
What does not satisfy Greek Cypriots in the plan:
- Amount of land returned – 40%
- That settlers will remain – 28%
- Functionality – 22%
What satisfies Greek Cypriots in the plan:
- Amount of refugees that will be able to return – 41%
- Gradual removal of Turkish troops – 28%
This poll also asked refugees that their homes will not be returned under Greek Cypriot administration if they would return under Turkish Cypriot administration. Only 16% said they would, while 72% said they would not.
