The comments I made regarding the mixture of nationalities in the UK are certainly NOT racist.

The point I was illustrating was in fact a fairly good representation of the events which took place in the past.

The UK has interfered in the politics of many nations, it has presented itself as a dependable ally, a source of great advantage and an asset to those nations.

In order to qualify it's claims, it described itself as the 'Mother Country' and encouraged the influx of immigrants over a number of years.

The situation is now quite grave in the UK since the indigenous population are being squeezed financially in order to underwrite the promises made to them by the politicians of those times.

The end result is what you now see and are apparently experiencing yourself, disharmony, intolerance, racial prejudice and a host of other unacceptable issues.

Hence my comment, the chicks are returning to a 'Mother' who does not want them, times have changed and the people of other nations have begun to realise just what damage has been done to THEIR homelands, I doubt if they will be too concerned at what damage they now do to YOURS.

I'm sorry Edman, I just can't say I blame them for opening their eyes a little, I am certainly NOT a racist I assure you. :)

Eliko. Thank you for your welcome both to the boards and Cyprus

Having read a number of your posts on this forum I would say you are at the very least anti English(if not racist)and this becomes apparent when you talk of "chicks coming home to roost" with obvious delight. What I would ask you though is; At what stage in history were Bulgaria, Poland Russia, Romania and other former eastern block countries under British rule?....Never? and yet these are the "chicks" now coming to Britain.(now in as great a number as the Asians) Could I ask have you ever visited the UK or even met someone from there? Because it seems to me you have gained your dislike of us from books and news reports.

Here's the guy who by his first couple of posts accused others of been less than intelligents :!:

Have you ever heard wise guy of the EU and it's freedom of movement? Have you ever heard your Country is not the one and only those people go? :P :P :P

What the????
You obviously don't even understand what Eliko and I were discussing  Go back read Eliko's original post, read my response THEN come back and comment, by doing so without understanding the issue in hand you just make yourself look stupid!

I'd follow chimera's 'we' when calling for open borders.

Yes borders should be open in all countries. Only then can there truly be world peace.
