help me out here...what do the GC exactly do to promote a viable solution on the problem?

They adopt a fascist person like Papadopoulos,which is the Denktas of the GC and simply wait till the TC die miserably in their under-recognized pseudo-state..Off course they promote only the continuation of the status quo and as long as the sovereignity of Cyprus de jure belongs to RoC they couldnt care less about a solution...apart from occasional prays by black-scarfed old ladies in the Green line..
