How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

[b]Hello
im currently working on a dissertation, reasearching the reasons why the majority of Greek Cypriots voted against the annan plan.

i would Greatly apprchiate any feedback from Greek or Turkish -Cypriots.

If anyone would be interested in expressing their views or is interested in partisipating in an interview
please send me a PM

Thank you for your time

I want to know why is it necessary to have 2 separate referenda. I cannot acceot that as just. Whats the point if the process is not democratic? -Besides emphasizing that both TC and GC are just pawns in the big picture.

The answer is simple: Balance of power.

On one hand we had: Turks (regional power), US (world power) and UK. On the other hand we had half a million GCs with the support of an averaged sized EU country (Greece).

The result was an unjust partition plan that was made not to solve the Cyprus problem, but to solve the problem of the Turkish EU accession. Or do you think is coincidence that the "solution" was rushed to us just days before Cyprus entry to the EU while nothing had happened during the last 30 years?

The Annan partition plan was made to legalize the actions of Turkey, cement partition, and remove the obstacle called Republic of Cyprus from the EU road of Turkey.
