No, if you come from Larnaca heading towards Dhekelia, you'll pass the Mitsubishi car dealer on your right. Keep heading towards Dhekelia, you'll pass the current market, keep going straight until you come to the next set of traffic lights. There is a firestation at those lights. Turn left and its around 500m on your left.

Passed it again last night, didn't see any signs announcing it's opening, we'll know soon enough now.

Got back from the market a short while ago, must say I thought it was very well laid out and the location is better than before.

Quite a bit of traffic congestion, no doubt that will decrease as drivers find the correct entrance etc, better parking facilities once inside the area but a bit dusty if entering on foot. :)

Drove past it myself. Was going to park up to take a walk around it, but there was too much traffic with cars parked out in th street. Gave up when I saw it all so came back home instead.

What about the warehouse next door, is that still open, or has it gone all together? didn't notice myself.

Found the market thanks to all the directions from the members. Good layout, more space definetely. Thank God the DVD guys are back...ahh I love giving it to the man. 20 million dollar salaries and 14 dollars a ticket just to go to the movies in the U.S.

Hazza, the warehouse 'OUPS' was also open for business, I think they were very busy today, the market will probably increase their sales since they have a lot of merchandise which is not available in the open market, particularly in the line of garden furniture etc, many people took advantage of visiting both locations.

All in all, I think the opening was a success for all the traders. :)

Is it only movies they sell or do they sell software too? Is this market open on weekdays or only on weekends?

Thanks for the info.

Good! I'll be there soon. If someone gets to find out before I do, could he/she tell whether there is a lokoumadhes and shamishi stall waiting for me. :P

Lisa,

I haven't seen software, but I have seen PS2, XBox, and Game Cube games. Albeit, the player would have to be chipped to work. Great deals, always remember to bargain.
