Hi , we are coming over later this year , can you get Pet insurance ?
We have an 11 year old fit and healthy Jack Russell but would like to get him covered just in case !

Nothing like that over here. They do not value their pets as much....but things are slooooowly changing. In the meanwhile you will have to pay up front for everything. I have a 5 year old JR and another dog. JR are crazy little dogs. They think they are three times as big than they actually are!

The only people that derive any benefit from this type of insurance are the ones who sell it to you, in my opinion.

I know this is slightly off topic, but looking at webbos link, I couldn't help but laugh at this...

Hunters Liability

Available to the Insured in respect of
Third Party bodily injury or damage to
property whilst hunting.

Can't believe they insure hunters now.

Hi all
just to up-date you Gan Direct have just informed me that they only do Pet Insurance with contents insurance not on its own, which is ok for us as
we haven't got our contents insured yet, but if anybody knows of any
other company that handles Pet insurance could you let me know - thanks

Hi K&G

I think you may find that pet insurance may not be so essential in Cyprus.

Vets in Cyprus generally do not charge the exhorbitant fees the ones in the U.K. do.

It may be cheaper to just put some money aside every month.

Atlantic Insurance have just started doing pet insurance. Got a leaflet with my car renewal
