Correct; you would not find anything in that passage or any other other regarding my true nature.
The welcoming hand you offered was to "drop" Greek, so it came veiled, and loaded. I've been offered those before by Turks, and Turks-born-on-Cyprus and have learned by trial-and-error to take them as superfluous offerings.
Your idea of True Cypriot and mine are clearly two different things. Although I explained my interpretation you have not explained yours.
It's presumptious of you to judge me as hating Humanity, but I will take it as a low-brow trick to increase favour in your camp. If I "vent", it is towards the Turks, and then purely in relation to what they have done to Cyprus first, and to other sections of my world, second.
Again, if you want to EUPHAMISE call yourself what you like! But if you want to be accurate and scientific about it, then please realise that Nomenclature follows strict rules, even if you don't like the category you are put in.

In "Greek Cypriot" Cypriot is the noun.Cypriot means "a native of Cyprus"...In "Greek Cypriot" Greek is an adjective. An adjective is a word used to modify or limit a noun...So Greek Cypriot is the perfectly accurate description of a Cypriot who speaks Cypriot Greek and might or might not be an Orthodox Christian...The same analogy goes for the phrase Turkish Cypriot...So tell us why you are really objecting to such an identity...????
A True Cypriot is a phrase we made up in jest in this forum...It means someone who was born in Cyprus,or has at least one parent born in Cyprus,who believes deep in his/her heart that Cyprus is her motherland,his spiritual home...Someone who believes that all Cypriots whatever their background are equal,with the same human rights and dignity.Someone who believes that Cypriots are one people and one nation,divided by one or two artificial (manmade) factors,with one common culture and common traditions and common personality traits and sense of humour etc...A True Cypriot believes that the only just and peaceful and lasting solution to the Problem is to put our Cypriotness above our ethnic origins and embrace each other as brothers and sisters in a democratic state based on human rights,equal opportunity principles,and the rule of law...Now why does this ring thousands of alarm bells in some people and places,who see the need to come and tell us we are not what we believe we are??????
