As you all know we have Pontians in the Government controlled areas most of them concentrated in Paphos, but there are some in other towns too.
And in the northern part we have the karasakalis otherwise called the "I am an idiot"

Please don't turn this topic into another number of settlers discussion.

What i want to know is what you think of the IQ of those people.

In my opinion the Pontians are really low IQ, I would say they are idiots!
I never had any prejudicies, but hell we have so many foreigners in Cyprus, only the Pontians proved to me over and over again they are soooo stupid.

I have a couple of examples to give, and I will do that later, it really puzzles me how do those people think, if they think at all.

The so called "Greek Rosso pontians" are supposed to be a Greek tribe that lived between Turkey and Russia around the black sea. After the collapse of Soviet Union many thousands of them moved to Greece and some came to Cyprus. They speak Greek and Russian and many of them Turkish too.

Just a preliminary information about how their work is valued: If you need to change the tiles in your house a GC will ask for 12 pounds per square meter, a Pontian for 7, and an Asian for 4-5

GCs please give your views about the Pontians, TCs about the Karasakalis.

After we are done with this we can talk of the political implications of those people if we have a united Cyprus.

Pyrpolizer, first of all, i think its a slightly racist topic, but anyway.

I know that many of them were given Greek passports after proving that they are of Greek decent.
I mean, someones pappou could be half Pontian and yet, citizenship granted. Most of the are Georgians and other Caucasus regions. They seem having a problem adopting in Cyprus after residing here for so many years... their greek is horrible, their Russian is not great either. They assemble in small groups in the evenings taking "shitting in the wild" seating position and constantly spitting on the ground. No one likes them and its their fault... in the past 50% of crimes were commited by pontians. I hate Paphos just because of this reason...

I didn't know some of them could speak Turkish also. That explains how the women at the Carefour Columbia fish department speak all 3 languages! I don't think it is about their IQ. They are uneducated, uncultured and they try to look macho. Thats the problem with them!
