Electrical vacancies

Postby paul47 » Fri Jul 27, 2007 2:52 pm

Hello everyone in Cyprus
I am looking to move to Cyprus in the next two months.
I am a qualified Electrician. I can do domestic wiring but also know about three phase, motor control systems, BMS, heating and ventilation systems.. variable speed drives, PLC'S etc.
Can anyone advise me on any good web sites or know of any electrical companies that are looking for electricians.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards

Paul

You were lucky to get that. Trouble with the brits is they always compare what they got back home to cyprus and it doesn't work.

800 is a gconsidered to be a good wage for a lot of people, but when you have been used to much more is seems they are taking the piss.

Wow, 16th edition, so what all local electricians do that, its nothing special.

You have to look at the whole picture, taxation, fuel cost, poll tax, etc etc, all mach much less here, so the 800 quid goes much further here than in the UK.

Now for the original question, check the EURES website, i think you might find something there.

Fuel costs going up!
Electricity going up 6%
Shopping in Orphanides etc. Dearer than Tesco etc.
Typical property rent £250 to £450 a month
Car purchase- Horrendously expensive
Road Tax - Outrageous if you want anything more powerful than a 1600cc rollerskate

Get Real, this island is great but only if you have wads of cash or don't have to pay rent or a mortgage
