Barbaric Savages strike again

Postby miltiades » Wed Jul 25, 2007 11:24 pm

What drives these sick barbarians to commit such heinous acts against their own people celebrating the result of a football match. I want , Eliko , Get Real and all the American haters to read this and make comments. IT IS NOT THE AMERICANS , BUT THE BARBARIANS WHO ARE COMMITING SUCH DISGUSTING ACTS.
What drives these perverts , what motivates them ?? It makes me puke that there are people ready to justify such barbaric blood thirsty murderers.

50 killed in Baghdad suicide bombings
Wednesday, 25 July 2007 20:56
Two car bombs targeting jubilant soccer fans have killed at least 50 people in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad.

A further 135 were wounded in the separate suicide attacks which were aimed at supporters celebrating the country's Asian Cup semi-final win over South Korea.

Police say the first suicide car bomb exploded in the Mansour area, killing 30 and leaving 75 injured.

AdvertisementSoon after, another suicide attack at an army checkpoint in east Baghdad killed another 20 people and wounded 60.

Soccer-mad Iraqis, who have had little cause to celebrate during four years of unrelenting violence and chaos, have avidly followed their team's progress through the tournament.

Many obtained extra fuel to make sure generators kept going during today's match, as the national power grid is too unreliable to keep domestic appliances running.

Iraqi state television flashed a warning from military commanders urging people not to fire guns into the air, but the warning appeared to go unnoticed as jubilant fans fired pistols and AK-47 assault rifles.

The sound of gunfire could still be heard in Baghdad hours after the match ended. One person was killed and 17 wounded in the capital by falling bullets.

Three people were killed and about 50 injured by falling bullets on Saturday after Iraq beat Vietnam to reach the semi-finals.

miltiades, I agree entirely with your sentiments in this instance, I wonder WHY such things are taking place these days, they were never apparent prior to the unlawful attack upon their nation.

Do you think it possible that they have learned such violence at football matches from we of the west?.

Not on such a scale as far as severity is concerned I'll grant you, but then, arms and munitions are not so easily obtainable in our communities are they?.

I wonder what would happen if young children, playing in the streets, were able to pick up firearms and munitions randomly scattered outside the 'Arsenal' football stadium, the loss of a match could well trigger off a similar scenario, particularly if they daily witnessed the aggressive attitudes of a foreign force in their country.

Why should the generators not be working, they were perfectly serviceable before the unlawful, murderous and cowardly attack on the nation.

Never mind what WE think miltiades, how do YOU justify it?.

Eliko , my dear young man , these sadistic killers are driven to these horrific acts by a demented and perverted ideology, NOT religion , but a sick ideology. The perpetrators of such barbaric and bloodthirsty barbaric acts are 100000% convinced that what they are doing is righteous , holy and God inspired. What we need is brave and sensible religious leaders to tell these idiots that If God Existed HE would NOT be happy in seeing bits of His creations being blown to smithereens and neither would he reward these wretched murderers with tens of young virulent virgins. These primitive barbarians actually believe this and they happily blow them selves up killing tens of innocents. Ask yourself , what is it that drives a young man to commit such disgustingly horrendous acts , killing people , mostly young , out celebrating their national teams in in a football game. Cant you see these people are sick ??

The thing to remember here is that none of this was happening prior to the second US/UK invasion of Iraq. Suicide bombers and similar “terrorist”* violence was unknown to the Iraqi people and who can deny that? (*because an F16 flying low and/or firing is also terrorist)

So, the question Miltiades is not so much…

“Why do some elements do this?”

…but…

“What happened to this country that evolved into this kind of behavior by some elements?”

..and I think we all know the answer to that.

Regards, GR.

miltiades, if the people are sick, as you suggest, it is a sickness that has been imposed on them that they are suffering from.

The cure, not simple but may serve to alleviate their suffering is to leave them alone, make reparation for all the damage and destruction unlawfully imposed on them, compensate the relatives of ALL victims, apologise to the world and get the hell out of their country.

No they didn't learn it from the west, mass slaughter on an industrial scale was the trade mark of the Iraqi army under Saddam, remember who slaughtered the 180000 Iraqi Kurds and the Marsh Arabs and all that went before them as well as afterwards.
A high percentag of the insurgents are just that and not of Iraqi origin.
Why don't you blame the Russians for arming Saddam so that he could carry out these mass slaughters and the Syrians, and the Iranians who supply the current crop of terrorists.
Nobody in their right mind would call the United States totaly innocent bystanders, they support whoever it suits them at the time, I am the first to admit that and I'm sure that I speak for Miltiades, but to blindly blame the evil west for all the ills in the world is a very counterproductive argument.
The former Soviet Block along with China has done equally as much to creatre instability in many regions around the world including Africa (Angola Via its Puppet Cuba) and Etiopia.
The terrorism in Iraq has little to do with the Caolitions actions it is more to do with opportunist outsiders stirring up trouble in the wider Arab/Muslim world.
So please let us put a stop to the evil west syndrome and look at the wider view.
