Why? this has nothing to do with the coalition, it has nothing to do with anything other than being a display of sheer brutality, anyone who saw those poor injured children in the hospital and then tries to make some sick political inuendo is as bad as these pathetic mindless idiots.

“The Tuesday truck bombs that targeted the villages of Qahtaniya, al-Jazeera and Tal Uzair, in northern Iraq near the border with Syria, were a "trademark al Qaeda event" designed to sway U.S. public opinion against the war, a U.S. general said Wednesday.

The attacks, targeting Kurdish villages of the Yazidi religious minority, were attempts to "break the will" of the American people and show that the U.S. troop escalation -- the "surge" -- is failing, Maj. Gen. Benjamin Mixon said.”

Every time this type of American rhetoric gets broadcasted immediately after a death and destruction event in Iraq you can place ALL YOUR MONEY that the US is behind it.

Americaniko daxtilo no doubt !!!!
Cant you see what drives these barbaric savages to kill themselves and hundreds of innocent women and children ?? Is it not clear that their perverted interpretation encouraged by a satanic sect drives them to commit such inhumane acts . As a young man along with mostly all of my generation joined the struggle against the British , we also had our piers to guide us and instruct us. We were encouraged to continue the struggle but never were we instructed that the indiscriminate killing of innocent women and children was in any shape or form justified. We valued life and shed tears whenever an EOKA fighter was executed. These savages blow themselves up with a smile on their disgusting faces looking forward to reaping the godly rewards.
These savages ARE the reason the conflict continues , they have no moral fibre only an insatiable appetite for death and destruction .

Don’t expect any respect from me for your views for as long as you use totally stupid terms such as “savages” and “insurgents”; it just doesn’t work with me.

Not only are these terms racist but you are also STUPIDLY IN DENIAL that an Iraqi resistance exists! Just how IMMATURE can you possibly get??? Have a look at how many American soldiers have been neutralized: Around 10k dead and 40k wounded, many of which have gone back in wheelchairs so that future generations of Americans can pay for their disability pensions for the rest of their miserable lives!

The “savages” and “insurgents” you so often refer to quite simply DID NOT EXIST prior to the illegal US/UK invasion and occupation of Iraq.

Those of us who take an interest and closely follow American foreign policy CANNOT be fooled by this predictable and very typical US behavior we have been observing since before the first invasion of Iraq.

You have the right to remain asleep all you want but DO NOT propagate your unsubstantiated garbage to others.

One can only assume that you come on this forum to wind people up, you have never posted anything that contains a shred of decency on these matters; quite the opposite in fact.
The two countries that you so openly revile fought two battles during the second world war, those two battles made sure that today, you have freedom of speech which evreyone is entitled to, the trouble is that you abuse that right!

What drives these perverts , what motivates them ?? It makes me puke that there are people ready to justify such barbaric blood thirsty murderers.

50 killed in Baghdad suicide bombings
Wednesday, 25 July 2007 20:56
Two car bombs targeting jubilant soccer fans have killed at least 50 people in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad.

A further 135 were wounded in the separate suicide attacks which were aimed at supporters celebrating the country's Asian Cup semi-final win over South Korea.

Police say the first suicide car bomb exploded in the Mansour area, killing 30 and leaving 75 injured.

AdvertisementSoon after, another suicide attack at an army checkpoint in east Baghdad killed another 20 people and wounded 60.

Soccer-mad Iraqis, who have had little cause to celebrate during four years of unrelenting violence and chaos, have avidly followed their team's progress through the tournament.

Many obtained extra fuel to make sure generators kept going during today's match, as the national power grid is too unreliable to keep domestic appliances running.

Iraqi state television flashed a warning from military commanders urging people not to fire guns into the air, but the warning appeared to go unnoticed as jubilant fans fired pistols and AK-47 assault rifles.

The sound of gunfire could still be heard in Baghdad hours after the match ended. One person was killed and 17 wounded in the capital by falling bullets.

Three people were killed and about 50 injured by falling bullets on Saturday after Iraq beat Vietnam to reach the semi-finals.

Thank you for drawing attention to the views of Ron Paul (zan), I must say that they fall nicely in line with my own sentiments.

I do hope miltiades will take the time to peruse the videos ( there are a few of them), perhaps he will then understand that there are people around who see things from a different perspective to his own.

No need for abuse, no need for accusations or insult, certainly a need for a little time spent thinking about certain situations.

I dare say you will attract some criticism, as long as it is constructive there is no harm in that.

Thank you once again zan. :)

It makes me puke that a self declared semi intellectual is denying that the perpetrators of such horrific acts , are anything other than savages . Resistance to what genius , blowing your self up amongst innocent Iraqis and indiscriminately killing women and children ?? Is that what you call resistance. Your entire attitude on a wide range of subjects starting with your derogatory views on the efforts of the UK Cypriots , your confrontational nonsense with Turkey by introducing mercenaries , your insults to my family , are indicative of a thoroughly innocuous , imperceptive and arrogant individual. Carry on watching the grass grow , that being the absolute limit of your observational abilities.

Over 500 people massacred by your heroes and you have the nerve to post such crap.

miltiades, You are OFF again, where have I ever made reference to mercenaries?,I don't think I have ever used the word in ANY of my posts, neither have I ever made any disparaging remarks about the efforts of the UK Cypriots, I really think you should consider what you post, you may find it helpful if you READ and UNDERSTAND what you are reading, who knows, you may even be able to engage in an intelligent exchange of views.
