INSULTS AND ABUSE

Turkish Cypriot provocateurs hurled insults and abuse at Greek Cypriots –including President Papadopoulos and Archbishop Chrysostomos – who gathered at the Ledra Palace checkpoint for a Diko event last night to mark the 33rd anniversary of the July 20, 1974, Turkish invasion.

... right there at the check point.... nice turks..

Greek Cypriot provocateurs –including President Papadopoulos and Archbishop Chrysostomos – gathered at the Ledra Palace checkpoint for a Diko event last night to remind Turkish Cypriots that they have been trying to isolate them and drive them off the island for the last 43 years.

It’s how you write it

Anyway I do not agree with the insults but I thinkif the Turkish Cypriots protest in a peaceful way, it is a good challenge for a President of a country to be questioned and challenged on social changes. It wouldn't have been that much of a bad tthing if the protests on both sides are abuse free.

Well, you should know by now, how difficult that is for Cypriots in general! :D

Good idea Humanist. Actually, if all the members agree to it, we can set aside 3 hours a day just for light hearted conversation, say between 3pm-6pm, so that BigOz can also participate before he signs off.

One more thing Humanist. Do you find Gay Jokes offensive to you, even if they were made in "good taste".???
