Would you consider a long term rental?

Hi Dave & Helen. Many thanks for your enqiry about renting the property from us. We have reluctantly had to return to the UK and the property prices in London are barmy. We need to sell it in order for us to get enough for a depost here.

We would love to rent it out so that when we do eventually go back to live in Cyprus our villa will be there for us. I've had a few people asking us if they can rent it from us for their golfing holidays but the situation is that there is this really stupid 'first time buyers' rule that when the ulity supplies are connected the buyer will not receive the VAT refund, which is about £11,500. So it may be better to leave it empty.

I will be in touch if anything changes.

The price of this beatiful detached villa is now only £135,000. It really needs to been seen as the outside is like most newly builds were it has little kerb side appeal. It needs a personal touch of plants, shrubs, stones, garden furniture, etc. The inside is beautiful as is the views. The floor tiling was an extra £17.50 per sqm.

If in Paphos its worth having a look. Directions are as follows: Go up the Polis Road and turn right into Tsada. About 500 yards up the road take the slip road on the left. About another 200 yards at the cross roads take a sharp left. Drive for about just another 100 yards and you will see Maroulla Hamlet on your left. It is the villa at the front, the only one with cream window frames.

Let me know what you think.

Villa for Sale

Postby loving it » Tue Aug 28, 2007 10:00 am

What like all the so called estate agents that I have listed this property with for nearly a year now and they haven't taken so much as one person to view it! They couldn't sell a cream cake between them.

Any better ideas?

I agree completely, i have had my land for sale for quite a while aswell, and none of them seem capable of selling it for me. Dont know why as it is a good area with lovely views, so it shows that they havent taken anyone to see mine either, strange.

Best to try placing an add in the Cyprus Weekly, or even better golden oppertunities paper (hrises efkairies) is best as it is free.
