Have you seen those with nails protruding through their eyebrow ? What a bunch of wallies. I bet Eliko has body piercings !

You may chalk up another WRONG on your assessment chart miltiades,I do not have body piercings, I am not a muslim, I do not wear a beard (another one of your pet hates) I do not hate America, I am not a jihadi,I do not condone the action of suicide bombers, etc, etc, etc,.

I am afraid your perceptions are FAR off target, but of course we know that don't we ?.

You dissapoint me Eliko , I would have thought that body piercings were one of your favourite body accessories !!.
May I also offer some advice to you Eliko . You must try to improve your sense of humour a bit , when I mentioned body piercings on You , a beard , did not say you were a Muslim , I was of course joking, however as for being an American hater and a Jihadi supporter who condones suicide killings , I'm dead serious.

The last three times that we've dined with our friends of 41 years my Wife and I were the only Brits in the establishments, at other times we've received our hospitality at various cypriot priends houses but never at a little English pub, last year we visited a Steak restaraunt limassol, not typical Cypriot but still we were once again the only none cypriots there.
What you must remember is that we once lived with Cypriot people and got used to and enjoyed the way of life, we don't want the Little England way of life.

You can go to my old address 10 Agia Varvara Street Limassol although it has been renunmbered due to more houses being built on the street, to prove my point, and this may surprise you, I still have the rental agreement dated July 1966 signed by the landlady Elini with the final signature a thumbprint by her aged mother Maria.
I am more than willing scan the rental agreement into my computer and email it to you if you wish, recently I found a 250 Mill note (25 cents) from the 60s in an old wallet.
The two summers we spent in Troodos were as I've said in another thread like an extended honeymoon.
I think that there were just two hotels in Limassol in those days. Limassol started on the western side just past the Calypso Bar (which I see is still there after all these years) and ended where Archbishop Makarios Avenue reached the coast.
Yes I've visited two or three establishments on Tombs of the Kings Road but not as a habit only when it has suited me.

We heard so many stories from fellow ex soldiers of our regiment who said how much limassol had changed so that when we returned in 1998 we chose pafos as it was nearer to what we were told how limassol used to be. We didn't expect to find that Limassol had grown so much; but, after 31 years it was to be expected with all that has happened in Cyprus over the years.
The pafos district is very agreeable to us especialy the outlying villages, my Wife would prefer a house with a sea view I myself don't mind the more secluded rural village life.
