There is fishing at the dam, if theres enough water left in it! I believe a licence is needed. Failing that rumour has it there are a lot of tuna in coastal waters at the mo.

Do you guys just post for the sake of posting????
The man wants to know where in 'PAPHOS' he can go fishing. He says he had a 'FISHING ROD' and not a 'FISHING BOAT' which one needs for tuna fishing.

Yes stig, you can fish from the rocks or the beach in Paphos but don't expect to catch much. If you have a car then driving up to the Akamas you will find some good fishing spots and great beaches for the kids, otherwise Coral bay is a nice beach but most of Paphos beaches are a little rocky so must be careful with the kids. Unless you are fishing in the dams for sweet water fish you will not need a licence.

Dams around Paphos of course. Kafenes some of us are trying to be helpful and are not expert fishermen as you appear to be :) Some Cyp fishermen should chat to you as I know some of them are hoping for the Tuna with their rods from the shore. Personally I hope no one catches any tuna, the stocks are being depleted in the Med. at an alarming rate...

Try Pomos.

There is a great bay there which is superb for the kids to splash around and go snorkelling. There is a restaurant by the beach for all the extra comforts.

The fishing is good off the harbour there too.... BUT unless you are going to eat any you catch, don't be cruel and just catch them for fun as they are invarioubly injured in the process.
