Is this what worries you the most?
So far zero results from TCs

And how exactly do you expect my claim to be verified? by participating in your mock poll?

Do you mind explaining me why the poll is a mock? It asks the questions you are interested to check, does it or does it not? Feel free to make your own poll if you like.

I would expect some votes from TCs of this section to prove me your claim. So far zip.

You are kidding yourself. Hundreds picked at random are not the same as a small group of persons who have subscribed to a forum with restrictions on who is allowed to vote. Also, your poll is a leading question. It is meaningless and, in any case, should be in the Cyprus Problem board, NOT in the General Chat.

If you want to know whether the the Cyprus people know what happened, do it properly by choosing hundreds, totally at random, from all walks of life, all genders, whether or not they even have a computer, whether they move about in a Merc or on a donkey, whether they are 16 or 60 (or 90).

Oh really? Are you willing to finance it?

Btw I live in this place, I know what people know, and so far I have not met a single GC person of ANY age starting from elementary school who doesn't know what happened in 15 July 1974. It is you the TCs who are living with illussions as to what the GCs know/are educated with.

Furthermore there is a good reason why this poll is in the General chat section and not in the Cyprob section.

But as usual you are so quick in assuming you know everything, that you assumed "it was made here by mistake" as well. :P :P :P

Pyro
Where you live and who you know irrelevant..
We are talking about a public poll done with 507 random members of the public..
It was the GC's who did the poll for simerini newspaper not the TC's...so if you have any problems with the results i suggest you take up this issue with Simerini or Cyprus College and not blame us

For the last time:

1)The poll question and the way it was presented IS UNKNOWN.
2)The presentation of results regarding this specific matter is TOTALLY UNCLEAR.
3)It is FULLY RELEVANT to live in a place and know what is going on around you.

4)You DO NOT EVEN KNOW the quality of Cyprus college and what level of students it has. I would never doubt a poll made by the University of Cyprus, but.... from Cyprus College, well... no comments.

And yes you are living in illussions by assuming that because the details of the 60s that are important to you are hidden from the GCs (which is true) then also the details of what gave Turkey the pretext to Invade is also hidden from the GCs. I already tried to explain you there is something wrong with the presentation of the poll results for this specific issue, you don't want to listen.
You are just stuck there with your own assumptions, and you want me to prove the fallacy to you.

Enough man, I am TIRED with you. Believe whatever you like. I DON'T CARE.

That's exactly what i have been trying to tell you..
I am pleased we finally agree in this very important point....Further more,i'll even go as far as saying there are important events in history regarding TC's which are never mentioned in TC history books and are taboo to talk about..
Both sides write their history books as they wish and often these are one sided propaganda...
I guess there will never be a proper history book accepted by both sides reflecting what actually happened, because neither side will like their dirty linen in the open...

Sorry but my full sentense was not what you quoted therefore I don't see how we have ever agreed on the issue in hand. May i remind you the issue was whether the vast majority of GCs are very well aware of what happened (the coup against Makarios) one week before the Turkish Invasion.

On the rest of the things you wrote, sure, everybody knows that. Propaganda thriving and hitting the roof from both sides. Half truths etc etc. On that yes we agree.
