bigOz, I missed that part of one of your posts, I just saw it.
The whole muslim minority (Turkish, Roma, Pomak) is around 30% of the population of Thrace, you can verify this easily. For my answer to the rest of that post see here
You guys still dont get it do you..the act itself is deplorable but what did 99% of you do? you have made every excuse under the sun to brush the incident under the carpet, this is typical of GC mentality and what we fear in a united Cyprus all our problems will be conveniently brushed under the carpet while any bad acts against GCs will highlighted and analysed to death just so that you can brand us the evil and unruly ones. Pathetic thats all I can say and very reminst of the 1960s when GCs explained away all our fears and problems to a degree that they made themselves believe we were living in holiday camps and having the time of our lives.
No it is the Turks who like to brush thinks under the carpet and call the land theirs the time it is not ... what an evil act Turkey committed.

Have you got anything to say about the period from 1964 to 1974? or was it just Turkey being cruel to GCs for no reason? Will be interesting to read your comments.

You need to live and let life be let's focus on the problem at hand beginning with 1974 as far as Cyprus problem concerns. Let us considered the fresh wounds not old but i will look into that also....
No i do not know much what happened before.
I got a book and reading same old history of Cyprus now (because i like to see how all this fitting into prophecy), I will find soon what happen in the history of Cyprus before 1974.... I am a Biblical student and professor not a historian.
But let's talk about the problem at hand "Cyprus" ... if it is as you think and saying then stands to reason that the Greeks should never forget what happen in ... Turkey Istanbul is there's Kostadinobul you know the history tall us this....
Is Turkey willing to give back Istanbul? then we can talk what happen in Cyprus before 1974.
Respect Cyprus if you are a Cypriot and in this forum don't divide please but respect all part's this American has spoken.

This is very irrelevant question... has nothing to do with Cyprus does it? I am as old as God like me to be... how is that fit for an answer.
