82% - 18% partition solution.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Its interesting that so many like piratis are now starting to show their real face and not the pretend face they have been wearing and at least saying what they truely want and believe in, like partition.

lol

yes brother. we are hiding our faces. you obviuosly have some insecurities going on but i wont ge tinto that.

and why would you have a problem with partition anyway? from what ive understood, the only compromise TCs are making in a solution is an independend state. on the other hand GCs are expected to compromise
1) properties
2) restriction in residency in ther own country
3) the acceptance of non-cypriots to their country
etc etc...

so why would you have a problem?

either way i would prefer the proposal alexandros has made rather than partition but it is a viable option.

Where do you get this from brother?

We all want unification. What makes you think we don't? The question is do we 'unify' at any cost? That is where the problem lies.

For example, what makes you think Piratis wants partition? Is it because he hates the TC's? Is it because he doesn't want the TC's to have any political say in Cyprus? Is it because he wants TC's to be 2nd class citizens? Or is it because he feels that he is being disenfranchised and that he will feel like an alien in his own country?

Brother, what I want is a truly united country without any kind of discrimination based on race were all human rights are applied.
This is something the majority of Turkish Cypriots reject.

And because TCs currently have the Turkish tanks behind them, and the balance of power favors them, there is no way to get what I want.

So I am forced to accept the partition that you want, but apparently you prefer a disguised partition that will give you more ground, more money and more power (all these by screwing us even more).

I get it from his many hate filled statements and constant insults to my community, for someone that wants unity the past must be left to the historians but in a unified country people like piratis would make a nasty statement and hey presto we have inter-communial problems that can spiral out of control.

To put it another way if my every secound statement was to call gc's murderers and thieves etc. how many of you would i be able to convince that i want peace or unification, i would guess none.

i dont think priatis just blatanly goes out and calls TCs murderes, thieves and rapists (or does anyone else on this forum) but if we are insulted then it will be used for defense.

i do agree though that history should be left to the past, but at the same time you cannot disregard the fact that both communites have been victims.

Brother, once I cared about convincing TCs. Now I see this is useless. TCs act the way they act, not because they are not convinced, but because they want to gain as much as possible even if their gain comes from our loss.
I am not referring to you personally, but to the majority of TCs.

As long as TCs illegally occupy our properties I will call them thieves. This is not the past, this is happening today.

I have no problem piratis in what you want and in many ways we want the same thing but calling prople names or labeling helps nothing but get peoples defences up, i believe if you could restrain yourself and focus on the issues at hand and not on the annoyance of property(and in no way am i belittling your pain) you would be as prominant figure in this forum as alex has become.

A re brother. cause piratis needs your confirmation to consider him "prominent"

and besides why do you make alexandro so prominent. for all you know he could be a spy giving us all false data and trying to take over the entire island of Cyprus!

I dont remember who told me this in the forum but how does the saying go: keep your friends close and your enemies clsoer!

magikthrill do you have a trust issue? or do you like the way piratis acts? and what is wrong with being a prominant figure on this forum? and its not my but the general consensus of opinion that counts hence at the moment alex is doing well(are you jelous)

And you friends close and enemy closer clesche is a paranoid statement made by people who have huge problems with trust.
