Turkish side might not be in EU but according to ROC constitution Turkish Cypriots are still one of the two communities forming the republic

i got my new one 3 months ago because i had one of the really old ones that were handwritten. It says cypriot. If you like we can meet up and i'll show it to you, I am neither a "leftie or a commie" as you can probably tell from the team i support... i am a Cypriot. My country is Cyprus and I am an ethnic Greek. I am proud of both my country and my ethnicity. EVeryone deals with it in their own way....I don;t think you can judge anyone since we all need a dna test to figure out where we come from.

I'd be interested if you could find this German inspired law Oranos and post it since i find it hard to belive that countries like the UK who do not have ID cards can get round something like this.

Oranos I followed the same procedure to open brokerage accounts in the uk. Its called the KYC (know your client) process and there are no questions asked about ethnicity mate. The money laundering checks are basicallyh a copy of your passport and a utility bill. Now if you're reffering to the US patriot Act, this has nothing to do with the EU unless you are buying or selling US securities.
