Greek flags in cyprus ??

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby theodore » Fri Jul 20, 2007 4:05 am
hm..

No one is called Hong Kong-ish because people from their are called Chinese..

CYPRUS ON THE OTHER HAND IS NOT RULED BY GREECE NOR TURKEY.

So where does that put us ? IF IT IS NOT RULED BY GREECE OR TURKEY, WE ARE THEREFORE NOT GREEKS OR TURKS.

We are desendants, and if you didn't know... Cyprus has been fu**ed over by so many empires... is there really that much GREEK or TURKISH still in our blood ??

Naming people as GC and TC just makes things worse, we are supposed to be looking to the future, TO PEACE.

And yes, FORMS DO STATE GC AND TC, BUT IF YOU HADN'T NOTICED OUR ISLAND IS AT THE MOMENT SPLIT.
As I said before we must have unity in diversity this is the only way that the Cypriot problem will be solve. the Turks go home or buy there own land and let us live in peace in diversity of ideologies this way the Northern side it is not longer in insulation it is the principal of give and take you see. we must all have prod-er ideas to grow as is in the USA many ideas many coulter's but one country you see.

THE EURO IS FOR BOTH COMMUNITIES ..AND IS USED BY ALL NATIONS WITHIN THE E.U

SERIOUSLY ... I DO WONDER ...

I KNOW COMMON SENSE AND RESEARCH/DETAIL IS RARE IN CYPRUS (SEE LIMO LAW ARTICLE IN THE NEWS)

BUT I WONDER ABOUT MY BROTHERS HERE IN CYPRUS

GOD BLESS YOU ALL

A MINUTES SILENCE BY ALL TOMORROW
yes very well said the Euro for both communities as long as both comply but you see Turkey did not therefore they have been trap like a hot potato, thy must comply the Principal is unity in diversity. If you come to my class room i will teach you few thing in negotiation in philosophical terms ....

Now i am confused!!! who is telling the truth??

you'll see when we bbq. :D

Halil says for Sunday the 29th. Is that alright for you and Iceman?

Yes M8...29th is OK for me if its OK with everyone else...

Good, then we have 4 people thus far that agree. Iceman please get in touch with Halil to sort out time and location because he seems a bit stuck with that.. Btw, Kafenes is also keen. :D

OK will conyact Halil tomorrow to arrange time..

By the way...is this going to be a singles BBQ? I suggest we bring partners also...My wife is keen on coming along and i am sure Halil's family will be present...what do you guys think?

Kafenes or anyone else is most welcome...will have plenty food & drinks..

Given the choice I prefer members only otherwise it just becomes another social thing where wives probably go on about kids and that and I would probably withdraw from future meets if it goes in that direction; no offence intended to anyone.

i'm ok either way.

ARE YOU SURE YOU DONT APPROVE ..EVEN WHEN YOUR TV CHANNELS TOMORROW WILL BE SHOWING VICTORY MARCHS AND VARIOUS BODIES ..SAYING HOW GREAT TCS ARE ...

WELL IF NOT I RESPECT THAT ...

BUT I FIND IT HARD TO ACCEPT . THAT
Oranos my friend,
If you find it hard to accept, sorry but that is your problem. What I find unacceptable is the fact that while we are "allegedly" trying to find a "peace settlement" we will intimidate you. I am only being fair. People like me may be in a minority, but it would be a compromise and a step forward if they were removed. This does not detract from the fact that I am proud of the fact that I am a Turkish Cypriot. Further to your message, I do not run TRNC TV. If the TRNC want to celebrate their Victories against the forces of Enosis, whats wrong with that. Every TC will celebrate the day the Turkish Army arrived in the island and prevented Enosis. Surely you can understand that.

Get Real, I was just going to post saying that I will miss the BBQ, when I read your last line. The presence of the wives would act as a deterrent against anyone deciding to sort things out using your weaponry. Now I am getting worried. Without the wives as "human shields, ......

No, really enjoy yourselves.

theodore i dont understand you english ..sorry ... also ..yes ...i understand ....that the ids may vary ..what i explain was that many governments within the E.U and the northern trade block ..are looking for specifics of ethnicity

for example in broadcasting solutions in the med ...the 3 top IT/TELECOMS SMS SUPPLIERS ARE TURKISH ..

they will not accpet apllications on the web if you state " CYPRRIOT ... "
ONLY IF YOU DEFINE

HAVE A NICE DAY /..//
