yes and the same goes for you insan. if you are going to call someone else a thief then you should accept the fact that you're a thief too. otherwise keep it aside.

Insan,

You are not very good at taking critisism are you. I personally don't like treading on egg shells. Are you the kind of person that would hit somone if they said something you did not like? Because that is how you actually come across!

You are right. I'm sorry. I still bear the same belief that two wrongs does not make one right. I'm really sorry about it. However mikkie, critisism is one thing; nerdly, arrogant, irritating, insulting behaviours are disparate. I hope next time you distinguish this.

I still bear the same belief that two wrongs does not make one right.

Apparently this is your belief only when it suits you. Isn't selling the products that were produced on stolen land wrong? Isn't selling the stolen land itself wrong? Isn't making in any way money from what you stole wrong? So how can all this wrongs make a right?

What is right is to return back what does not belong to you and get back what belongs to you. So why you don't support what is right? Why do you support the ones that disobey the UN resolutions and brake the laws?

As I said before you should blame yourselves and Turkey because your wrong and illegal actions, and stop demanding that we should accept even more wrongs against us because they will benefit you.

Thanks for your reply insan and I much appreciate your poetic mood this Monday morning (tsangarodeftera, we call it. Monday was a rest day for shoe makers).

Hi Bananiot. Most of the times those poems say more than I can say. Though those 3 are song lyrics written by M. L. Gore from Depeche Mode.

You say that all people in the north want a solution. Of course if you ask all people in the south they will tell you the same. Partition is a solution too and many people subscribe to it.

Bananiot, can you please tell me how a likely reunification will be materialized by whom and when?

Towards the end of this year, even perhaps earlier the agenda of world politics will most probably be focused upon peace and stability of mid-east. If Iran cannot be persuaded to "end its nuclear ambitions", a US led western military action against Iran and even Syria seems highly possible. It is obvious that, US is decisive to "entirely eradicate the potential MWD threat" in middle east. While some of the EU countries which are also in Nato pact seems ready to act together with US, some others showing the standby light to Bush. I'm sure US and its close EU allies know the methods to convince the others. Sooner or later(My estimation is June or July), US and EU will unite under the same roof in order to start the second phase of the long awaited "new world order" movement. It is estimated that this movement would last at least 10 years. Until the success or failure of this movement, noone will bother the reunification of Cyprus; neither the partition. It is highly probable that the consequences of this movement will negatively affect the economic, social and psychologic order of the world. The countries in conflict areas will be the worst affected and Cyprus as an EU member will lost its economic backbone; tourism... Most probably Cyprus will become one of the main military target of some anti-EU-US alliance terrorist organizations. Cyprus problem should have been resolved long before the year 2005. Please read the messages under the category "Cyprus and EU", "Cyprus and New World Order" to a better understanding, why. Though, perhaps you too are well aware of the goings on revolving around Cyprus.

Papadopoulos and Denktash have created many followers. I think, me and you understand each other about the solution we envisage. But, probably this is exactly what you mean too. I agree on the rest you wrote too but probably you are over reacting (Talat being a lesser evil). Do I detect frustration? I thought I had the prerogative.

Papadopoulos, Denktash and all others who had/have same or similar mentality; are the primary bigots that costed the Cypriots to lose 55 prosperous years. Once those bigots; as the most fiery anti-communists were serving the interests of US. They managed to keep Cyprus under control of right wing, pro-westerners. While they were serving the interests of Western world, they were also fighting for something else. The Hellenic "heroes", being the big brothers of Cyprus were trying to convince the Uncle(US) to grant them full power to serve his future interests in cooperation of the Grand Dad(Greece). On the other hand, the Turkish anti-communist "heroes"; the little brothers were asking to Uncle either to share the ruling power equally between them and their big brothers or they would fight for a seperate state. Their Grand Dad(Turkey) was more inflential on Uncle because of the prior interests of the Uncle. Uncle didn't/don't want to hurt these advantageous brothers because there were also anti-uncle brothers among them. All he wanted was to keep the Island under control of his most loved relatives. He tried almost every method to satisfy the interests of his favourite brothers, simultaneously but the proposals of Uncle have never been satisfactory and acceptable for his most loved brothers and business partners, simultaneously. The uncle's proposals when accepted by Big Brothers, rejected by Little Brothers; when accepted by Little Brothers, rejected by Big Brothers.

Those left-winger heroes aka anti-uncle brothers; under threat, oppression and fear of being slaughtered by their pro-uncle brothers didn't know exactly what to do. They were acting in a confused manner. Finally they decided to resist against all pro-uncles aka "imperialists"; Uncle, their brothers who were serving the Unle's "imperialistic" interests and the Grand Dads who were the Unle's business partners. Oddly enough the "resistence brothers" eventually have become a part of "the new imperialists". These are the close relatives of Uncle. The "resitence Brothers" still act in a confused manner.

Moral of the story: The relevant actors of this game "struggled" for their own personal and common group interests. The ones who gave good support to the main actors of this game have always got their share and satisfied their pecuniary needs. The victims of this "struggle" have always been the ones who lost their lives, who lost their beloveds, who haven't satisfied with the share given and who reject to play this injurious game(However these are just a small minority). Vast majority of Cypriots? It seems to me that most of them enjoyed playing such an injurious game as long as their pecuniary needs satisfied by the main actors. The main actors of this tradgedy are still on the stage. They still have crowdy, fiery backing crews... Seemingly, they are trying to find out where did they go wrong, however they still make similar mistakes. Acknowledging the mistakes? What's that? Everyone still believe that what they did in the past and currently are absolutely right.

Bananiot, the main local actors of this game and their closest backing crew are all well aware of what's happened in the past and what's currently going around... The contradiction between the facts and lies, furthermore lack of awareness and the fear of uncertainity make paranoia.

Now it's too late to reunite Cyprus. We lost more than 55 years and couldn't suceed to unite Cypriots, put aside uniting Cyprus. Perhaps at the end of the new world order movement... If we could have managed to survive, of course. Perhaps under the rule of our new colonial master.

This is why it will take a very long time before any solution of the Cyprus problem is achieved.

76%of GC want all the refugees to be free to return to their homes but the TC Parties are ignoring this fact. The solution will come when ostrich heads come out of the sand.
