Found and watched this last night. I think certain GCs in here really need to see it.

Antonis Tony Angastiniotis more than a director is a peacemaker that had the courage to expose crimes committed by his own community (Greek) against the Turkish Cypriot community during the 1974 war in Cyprus. Tony was attacked by the Greek Cypriot media and death threats are part of his daily diet, nevertheless he has become a strong voice of peace and reconciliation within his community. In one of his interviews when asked about the attack by the nationalists media he said, “All this trash they throw against me will one day become a platform for me to speak to the country, the more trash the bigger the platform”. The documentary reveals the mass execution of civilians, mainly woman and children, by Greek nationals during the second intervention of the Turkish army. After 30 years of silence eyewitness of the event talk to the camera and reveal how they survived. If for no other reason this documentary is very important for those interested in the Cyprus history. It reveals the atmosphere of hatred that existed in the island those days.

I haven't watched this and will do so, however if this is true then the only thing i can say is, shame how you don't have a TC filmaker on your side with the same courage to expose the Turkish atrocities.

I know DT. But please bear in mind the Turkish attrocities are VERY VERY VERY VERY WELL documented and known throughout the world...this is the first time majority of the people featured in this video have spoken out about what happened to them, this is the case for majority of TCs who suffered in those times.

Turkish_Cypriot I can name you at least 3 people on this forum that will argue till they drop that there were no Turkish atrocities and if there were some killings in the "peace intervention" it was soldier to soldier only in honest combat.

I don't want the world to see Turkish atrocities but the TC side. Tony Angastiniotis makes these videos for his own side to see and not for the other side to use. Thats what the TC side needs as well.

As i said, I will watch this. Whats VP going to do?

T_C thank you very much for the video, I certainly understand a little more about the diffiulties faced by our Turkish speaking compatriots in those days. As Antonis said a simple sorry is not enough but that is all I can offer as I am not responsible for those attrocities.

I hope the courts responsible for war crimes act appropriately to locate those who took these lives and sentence them appropiately.

My sincere condolences to those four Cypriots who told their story and to little Selden also.

Supposely Angastiniotis Voice of Blood film No 2 was initially announced that it would deal with the TC attrocities against GCs!!!

3 years have passed since his announcement and here's what he managed to come up with. Imo he is just buying time of residence in the occupied. Also buying time for his salary at the Eastern univeristy.

He is just fighting a "safe battle".

@Peterc
He himself said in THIS FORUM he is afraid to do it. Make a search in this forum and read his last 2 messages (about a month ago...)

Anyway does anybody have a link where I can download it? Google does not provide this option for this movie.
