Jobs

Postby Crivens » Fri Jul 13, 2007 11:47 am

A friend of mine will need work in Limassol soon as her current contract (company in UK) ends at the end of August.

Can anyone tell me where the job centre is in Limassol, plus any tips on how to find work would be good. Is there a particular newspaper, for example, that is good for job listings?

Also she does not speak Greek yet. Is there still enough jobs out there if you don't speak Greek? The wages don't need to be amazing either. Plus she had a degree in Computer Science and experience in administration if that makes a difference to where to look for work. Although she doesn't mind what she does really (shop work is fine for example).

Cheers

Cool. Will get her to check it out. Do they have the equivalent of job centres in Cyprus?

Cheers

Thanks everyone, will get her to check it all out.

Cheers

PS. JB, thanks for the message, I sent you one back once I realised what a PM is... sigh, been on the web (or whatever it was called then) since about 1991, have a computer degree, been a professional software engineer/programmer and team leader for 12 years, and I'm still useless with TLAs (three letter acronyms... although in this case two... still works!).
