But a number of Greek Cypriots were seen to enter without showing invitations or having their names checked against a list.



So how did they know the difference between Greek and Turkish Cypriots if they didn't check them in ?, sounds a bit far fetched to me

im quite confused... what are minority rights? i thought that minority was just numbers; more GCs than TCs, so the one is the magority and the other minority, are they not just labels??? can some one explain please.

Pali, my friend, my signature refers to 3 individuals, not to a whole nation. Having said this I don't think your idea "A GOOD TURK IS A DEAD TURK"is far from the truth. Why not use it as your signature? Be a man don't hide behind your little finger. Do it from the heart.

I said I second the comment. You signature is provocative IMO not for the 3 names but for the long live the TRashNcan.

I don't believe to the slogan "a Good turk... etc" so there's no need for me to use it. For your information my personal values are such that I consider the death of ANY person a death to myself.

zan i completely agree with you. you're not a minority your a cypriot. so drop that puppet of a state, form a party or two, or three, and lets get the voting going. you can get as much of the government as you want as long as your canditates are elected by ... CYPRIOTS. a tc can even get presidency for all i care, but if the results are not satisfying, will you shut the fuck up?

The whole of the EU put together a plan that they thought was fair but you guys think you are special so you alone rejected it. It was neccessary in 1959 and it is now so you trying to steam roll over our rights and we are the ones that are in the wrong....give me a break for gods sake. You have part of Cyprus to do what ever the hell you want with and we will hang on to the part that we won even through your agression. You got what you deserved in 74 and you got what you deserved after your OXI on the Annan Plan. Perhaps when you stop wanting more than you deserve then we will listen to you. If you cut your finger you use the right size plaster and not stick a tiny one on a gushing wound. Forget about us in that case and get on with your lives cause the wound is festering and it may never heal up.

zan, hats off to you for sticking to what you believe, but i think that the original posting has too many holes in it to be credible. i think that you have probably realised this anyway.
