It depends on the volume and if the incident is complicated, but in average the price is 10 - 15 CP per hour.

I’m a system’s engineer and solve most problems onsite within the hour so if I was charging 10-15 p/h I might as well stay in bed! Are you a student or something?

I appreciate your sense of humour, all those tricks are not for sysadmin or engineer. But as you are in that job, how much d'you take?

What? I said Systems Engineer not Admin!

But as you are in that job, how much d'you take?

The standard rates are £30.00 p/h for home users and £40-60p/h for commercial.

ie: If you're working on a server on a Saturday or Sunday night that's definitely a £50-60p/h job so you're way out of touch with the industry.

If you were to work out your travel time/costs alone you'd find that £10..15 p/h just about covers them! :)

Thanks a lot for prompt reply! I don't take this job as difficult so I charge less.
By the way, if you check disk in 260Gb you charge all that mentioned above as well?

couple of incidents per day: 2-3 hours to resolve for example... makes you £45 lets say.
(45 * 5) * 4 = £900 a month. Think again man... thats a perfect case scenario....noot
I charge £27 per hour as a bare minimum... and i am not certified, cause i don't have time :D

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
Thank you very much for kind replies. To my mind our clientele should have the right to opt.
As for me I was lucky to have time in abundance to be certified by Microsoft Company.
I don't try to dissuade you and ask less for your job to follow my suit. Computer services are actually expensive but it's unjust to make money by using other people incompetency.
Thanking in advance for kind cooperation.
