Het RichardB, this gives you away χρωματίσω όλοι, i assume you mean paint them all ?? as opposed to colour everyone ?

Have a nice holiday, anyway.

I've never had a formal lesson in my life. But having a Cypriot wife and Family helps

My spoken Cypriot is better than my written, But I get some strange looks from Nicosians when they here a Brit speaking with a vllage dialect (could be worse I suupose ..It could be a paphos dialect)

Plus I have lived and worked in Cyprus for about 9 years out of the last 20 So its been a case of learn or dont earn.

Hope to be permanently in Cyprus by next summer latest

I dont take any offence pantherman half the fun of learning is being able to laugh at the mistakes

Sometines I've had the locals laughing so much they've even waived the "Brit Tax"

My son speaks pretty fluent Greek

But in General we Brits are miles behind when it comes to learning languages

Most of the time they work on the principle that if people dont understand English then all you have to do is shout LOUDER
