What would be the shortest and safest way. Please bear in mind I can come through the North as well as the South. Most important is the route to be the safest and shortest.

I once put the route through either www.theaa.com or www.rac.co.uk. Can't remember which, but one of them did the whole route from my house in the UK to Limassol. Was when I was deciding if driving would be a good alternative.

Can't help you with what route is safest though. Sorry.

Thanks Eliko, I will certainly do that. We may still end up flying which would be our preferred choice. The road route is in the event my wife is not allowed to fly after an operation she will have next week. We will wait and see.
