heh maybe... but id sure stay away from turkey if i was them it sounds like its hell for them over there

Thank you Iceman for your response.My point in writing was highlighting the effect of world politics on every countries internal affairs. I am aware of the large Kurdish population, which consists of a largely peaceful people and then you have the terrorists. My main point was USA's promise of war on terrorism only as long as it suits the USof B....A.

Please don't take this in the wrong context, but it seems to me that China and the USSR were not totaly innocent of interference when it suited them. The Iron Curtain was hardly anything to be proud of; it was Soviet inflicted to support the police state system, the Soviets also interfered in Africa via their puppet police state Cuba.
Then we see police state China; a country that has had its fingure in the affairs numerous south east asian countries. The stain of the annexing of Tibet one of the worlds most peaceful countries/cultures will live forever on the flag of China.
Just thought I'd try and put another point of view, I'm not bessoted with the US, some of their music yes, their politcs no.

i was speaking o my friend today he has a passport from greece and he told me he has the choice of where to server army greece or cyprus.. in greece they do 12 months and cyprus 24 he laughed and said guess where i am going?;p
but i said to him stay in cyprus how will they find you? and he said i thought about that but when i go for a job maybe they will find me.. i wonder how many from greece come here, when i used to go to the exit permit place in leukwsia ( nicosia) there was a lot of people from greece like higher officers
